Host an Event
Whether big or small, hosting an event is a great way to introduce others to Mona's work and invite them to join you in supporting our mission.
Mona Mahmudnizhad was a young Iranian woman who loved children and began volunteering in an orphanage at the age of 12. She was also an outspoken defender of human rights and wrote a high school essay on “Freedom.” Because of her beliefs as a Baha’i, her service to children, and her outspoken nature, she was arrested in 1983, at the age of 17, and executed after nine months of imprisonment. Her youth, courage, and commitment to education, service, and social justice inspired us to name the foundation after her.
Thank you for subscribing to receive our latest news and inspiring stories from the field. You will receive Mona's newsletters around the first week of each month.
